Sudbury Cafe shortlisted for Brent Small Business Saturday awards

On Saturday, Sudbury’s Labour Councillors handed Sudbury Cafe a well-deserved Brent Council award for being shortlisted for “best place to eat and drink” in Brent Council’s Small Business Saturday competition.

In recognition of its standing as a great community hub, Brent Council has given Sudbury Cafe an award for being shortlisted as the “best place to eat and drink” for the borough’s Small Business Saturday 2018 awards.

The cafe was just one of a whole host of excellent local businesses which Sudbury’s Labour Councillors nominated for the award late last year. We were delighted when we heard that Sudbury cafe had been shortlisted, and we were proud to have handed the award to the cafe owners personally on Saturday 5th January.

There are a whole host of great businesses on Sudbury’s high street that need all the support they can get to thrive, and we’re determined to do all we can to support you – not least by nominating you for the Council’s Small Business Saturday awards every chance we get. We’ll be fighting hard to get even more Sudbury businesses recognised in SBS 2019.

In the year ahead, we’ll also continue working with local residents to further improve the appearance of our high street, and lending our support to any community funding bids to help facilitate this. So if you think there’s a local business that needs more support or recognition or have any thoughts on how we can make our high street better, please do get in touch.
