Brent and Kilburn Times cover local campaign for a better rail service in Sudbury

The Brent and Kilburn Times has covered the Sudbury Town Residents’ Association’s campaign to get a more regular service at Sudbury & Harrow Road station. You can read their story here.

Following a post I made on this website in early August (see here), the Brent and Kilburn Times got in touch to say they’d like to cover STRA’s long-standing campaign to improve the Chiltern rail service to Sudbury and Harrow Road.

I’m delighted to say that after meeting with campaigners to take photos on Saturday 4th August, the BKT has now written about the campaign on their website – you can read the story here.

We’ll continue to work with STRA and others to demand a more regular service for Sudbury – the current four return trains a weekday, and no service at weekends, is unacceptable.

As I say in the BKT, Cllr Saqib Butt, Cllr Mary Daly and myself will also be approaching the Department of Transport, Transport for London and Brent Council to secure their support for a more regular service. Watch this space for more updates.
