After strong objections from Sudbury Councillors, Brent Council’s planning committee today voted 4-3 against the Pocket Living application. A vote to refer this back to Council Officers and the applicants was then passed by a vote of 5-2. This follows strong objections from local residents and Sudbury Councillors.

I am sitting on a Local Plan review group in Brent Council. When adopted, the Local Plan will determine Brent’s future planning priorities over the next 10-20 years from 2020-onwards. If you have any thoughts on points I should raise at the review group, please get in touch.
In this post, we update you on some work we have been doing to support rough sleepers in Sudbury. Brent Council has recently expanded its service to rough sleepers, and the Housing Scrutiny Committee will be looking into this service – as well as the Council’s broader support system for homeless people – at some point later this year.
